About Varamahalakshmi Vrata
Vara Mahalakshmi Vrata is a Hindu festival celebrated primarily in South India, dedicated to Goddess Mahalakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity. It usually falls on the second Friday or Friday before the full moon day (Purnima) in the Hindu month of Shravana. Devotees, especially married women, perform rituals, prayers, and elaborate poojas to seek the blessings of Mahalakshmi for wealth, well-being, and prosperity in their families.
