Community Guidelines

Devalay is committed to providing a safe and respectful platform for all users. Our community guidelines ensure that content shared on the platform upholds the values of respect, authenticity, and cultural sensitivity.

Content Standards

• Photos are checked automatically for unsafe content when they’re uploaded, and videos shortly after they’re posted
• Temple and deity information must be accurate and respectful
• Temples, deities, events, festivals and pujas added by the community are reviewed by our moderators before they’re published
• Posts, comments and messages appear straight away. They are covered by automatic checks and by reports from the community

User Safety

• Personal photos and documents are stored privately and shared only through links that expire
• You can block accounts, and report posts, comments, accounts and messages
• Reported posts and comments can be hidden automatically while our moderators review them
• Payments are processed by Razorpay, and Devalay does not store your card details

Data Protection

We follow industry-standard practices for data protection and privacy. All user data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Reporting

If you come across something that breaks these standards, report it from the post, comment, profile or message where you saw it. Our moderators review reports and act on them. You can also write to us at contact@devalay.org.
