Glimpses
A glimpse is a photo or video that disappears after 24 hours. It’s a light way to share a darshan, a festival moment or your day.
Adding a glimpse
Tap Add Glimpse at the start of the glimpses row. In the app you can share a photo or a video. On the website you can share a photo. You can add a short caption.
Glimpses go through the same automatic checks as posts.
Who can see your glimpses
- If your account is public, anyone signed in to Devalay can see them.
- If your account is private, only your followers can.
- People you’ve blocked, or who have blocked you, can’t see them.
Replying to a glimpse
When you reply to someone’s glimpse, your reply is sent as a message, and it shows which glimpse you replied to. After the glimpse expires, the message stays and says it was a reply to a glimpse.
Deleting a glimpse
Open your own glimpse and choose delete. Otherwise it disappears on its own after 24 hours.
