Blocking someone

Blocking is for when you don’t want any contact with someone.

What blocking does

• Neither of you can message the other, including in a conversation you already had.
• You stop following each other, and any pending follow requests between you are removed.
• You won’t see each other in search, or see each other’s posts and comments.

The person isn’t sent a notification that you blocked them.

How to block someone

Open their profile, open the menu, and choose Block user.

Unblocking

Open Settings and go to your blocked accounts list, then unblock the person. Unblocking doesn’t bring back follows, so either of you can follow the other again if you want to.

If someone is harassing you

Block them, and report what they sent so our moderators can look into it.
